How can you exploit someone with something that is public record anyway? Also, Glove was stupid enough to make virtually the same argument to several other people – including KTBS and KSLA.

As stated repeatedly, take off the blinders and pay attention to Glover's comments. They are the issue. It would actually be the 4th Amendment that is under attack here.

Also, there are a few statements in that little thing called the "Declaration of Independence" that are called into play here. In case you need a refresher:

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Change or dissolution in this case would be Glover's removal in 2010 at the next mayor election.
